This fight might not have been what the fans wanted, but Will Brooks stepped in and delivered. A very close fight, both fighters giving it their all. Most of the fight took place on the ground, but a very good back and forth action fight. However the fight ends when gets the Will Brooks wins the fight by split decision victory (48-47). Michael Chandler really needs to improve on not giving up his back. He could have been submitted four times in this fight.
