Trevor Smith Replaces Bruno Santos To Fight Chris Camozzi At UFC 175

Unfortunately Bruno Santos has been forced out of this summer’s UFC 175 event, and Trevor Smith (11-5 MMA, 1-2 UFC) has agreed to step in and face Chris Camozzi (19-7 MMA, 6-4 UFC).

Trevor Smith has 1 knockout, 9 submissions and 1 decision victories, while he has been knocked out at three times, submitted once in his his MMA career. The 33 year old is 1-3 in his last four fights. He lost to Tim Kennedy via guillotine choke at Strikeforce – Marquardt vs. Saffiedine on Jan / 12 / 2013. He made his UFC debut against Ed Herman at UFC on Fox 8 – Johnson vs. Moraga on Jul / 27 / 2013 via split decision. He beat Brian Houston via split decision at UFC Fight Night – Rockhold vs. Philippou on Jan / 15 / 2014, but lost in his last fight against Thales Leites via 1st Rd TKO at UFC Fight Night – Minotauro vs. Nelson on Apr / 11 / 2014.

This card is stacked, UFC 175 takes place July 5 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass.
