Muhammed Lawal (12-3 MMA, 4-2 BMMA) maybe not the favorite in everyone’s eyes, but in his fellow MMA fighter and friend, Daniel Cormier believes that not only can Lawal win the fight against Quinton Jackson (34-11 MMA, 2-0 BMMA) at Bellator 120, he thinks he can end the career of Jackson.
Cormier wrote the following on Instagram:
This guy insisted that I fight. This guys called me when I was at my lowest point everyday. This guy paid my mortgage when I was broke. He’s my brother and I can’t wait until he competes this weekend in his 1st ppv main event. You don’t meet many people like Muhammad Lawal in one lifetime and I am lucky to have this guy. Lawal and Cormier were both standout wrestlers at Oklahoma State University. They also fought in Strikefoce, but went their separate ways when Lawal went to Bellator and Cormier went to the UFC.
Lawal faces Rampage Jackson this Saturday night at Bellator 120.
