aahaha i LOVE that that peice of shit Lester got subbed. See how Karma works? they make bets and offer up money for the ammount of teeth Lester will knock out of Wilks’s face, and and it ends up the other way around… awsome.
Snap my number one lw got beat by the kid I like the least… Funny how things happen like that :/
The irony did not escape me on Lester losing his teeth in that fight. I understand Bisping pitching a fit for the guy not coming back out for the next round, but it was equipment (which he didn’t know at the time) and I understand getting extra time to pull your teeth out of your mouthpiece so it will fit back in. Lester gave up after that though, he half heartedly pretended to be fighting off Wilks, I think he was looking for a way to get subbed out without it looking like he was looking for a way out of the fight, therefore resulting in a quick tap to the armbar.
Also, Stapes took a shot to the back of the head IMO which had some effect on how the fight went. However, not sticking to the game plan to stand and trade with Cameron and instead trying to take him down was a mistake, and put himself in a bad position to begin with.
I can’t wait for Henderson to kick the shit out of that jet lagged pussy sorry excuse for a coach. Hamil still won their fight.
Don’t worry dude, we’ll both get our wish @ UFC 100 when hendo beats the shit out of him.
Dude i was surprised by cameron dollar. IMO he was being a bitch before his fight, but then came out and skoold the uk dude. As soon as Frank Lester lost his teeth the fight was over but to be honest the uk dude had a better overall game too. It’s alright though, team usa will bounce back next week.
Anyone know what the 10,000$ challenge is this season?
hey you guys should start posting the the show online. I work nights and its a pain to find the video playback online.
$400 to James Wilks please
oh and Coach – “sorry excuse for a coach(‘s)” team seem to be making you boys look a little soft, best wait for the fight eh? the more you expect the greater the disappointment.
Bisping missed lasts week’s fight because he overslept? What the hell!
He was quickly becoming one of my favorite coaches, but that definitely knocked him down a few notches in my book.
idk if uve ever been really tired and took sleepin pills but u r dead to the world. u could blast an airhorn through a megaphone he still aint gettin up.
It’s nice to see a competitive season this time around. Usually we see one team blow out another team, but so far it’s UK 3 – USA 2. Thought that Frank Lester could have won his fight, but lookes like when his teeth got knocked out it messed with his concentration, it was a good back and forth fight though.
Nice to see that Bisping’s not talking $hit as much as he was in the begginning. I can’t wait to hear him run his mouth after Hedo beats him down at UFC 100. Good season so far, hope it stays competitive.
hahaha, jet lag? wtf, they don’t have alarm clocks in merry old england?!
Watch the fighter bashing – Justin
jetlagged or not, Bisping is there for one reason…all those kids aren’t jetlagged/stressed/etc? and the way he non-chalantly apologized…should be ‘the EGO’, not ‘the Count’…Dollar really surprised me…he looked s#*t scared, and Stapleton looked like he was gonna walk all over him…good composure for that kid.
I just got to my house checked my dvr and watched this episode, and well REALLY that was the show, Cameronouche won his bout yet had trouble setting in the choke, he wasn’t too impressive….
The second match was a bit better but I don’t see either of them making any sort of splash in the UFC, dude lost 4 teeth that sucks…
Next week Herpes YAY
O Bisbing, I travel A lot, it doesn’t just happen imo…. If he “took sleeping pills” (Huerta) than ya that could be the case but, you just don’t miss the things that are important too you no matter how tired you’re… Thats my personal thoughts on that and well doesn’t justify missing the kids fight…..
Does anyone know how long he was in LV prior to that fight? It was the 4th fight which makes me think they had to have been in the US for several weeks by that point. Did he travel while the show was being made, or is he saying he had jet lag over a month after arriving?
I think that the recording of the show takes place over a six week period, and Bisping was the last person to arrive from the UK due to visa issues.
I really hope you are wrong about James Wilks – As I saw his fight against ‘toothless wonder’ Lester he seemed to pick him apart. Surely a UFC career there for him in the not too distant future no?
The teeth he lost were already fakes, he explained he had already lost them, so his fakes got knocked out. I have a fake tooth in the front like he does and I have to say they get knocked out really really easy but you don’t even realize it happens, there is no pain at all.
