The UFC on Monday confirmed seven additional bouts for UFC 101, which takes place on August 8th at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia and features UFC lightweight champion BJ Penn taking on challenger Kenny Florian and UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva returning to the light heavyweight division to take on Forrest Griffin.
Officially announced today were Ricardo Almeida vs. Kendall Grove, Josh Neer vs. Kurt Pellegrino, Amir Sadollah vs. Johny Hendricks, Tamdan McCrory vs. John Howard, Matt Riddle vs. Dan Cramer, George Sotiropoulos vs. Rob Emerson, and Jesse Lennox vs. Danillo Villefort.

I am really excited about this one… Maybe we can see two upsets that night with kenflo and forrest winning… I am prolly the only one pulling for kendall grove to lol.. but i cant wait
Hopefully we actually get to see amir. Heres hoping that he does not get sidelined again.
Should be a good night of fights, I will be pulling for the upset by Forrest, but hoping that Almeida can take out Grove. I also hope Amir can stay healthy and finally get back to fighting.
101 on paper is turning out to be a really awesome card, we shall see how it turns out but I’m getting excited for this one…..

I am rooting for forrest, ken-flo, and big dog almedia to win. hopefully almedia gives me an early christmas present and chokes the idiot out of “da spyda”. I would hate to see another one of his tito impressions of burying the guy. come on kendall, you are not tito, dont steal his stuff!. this is shaping up to be a good card. I would like to see amir fight as well, see if he is worthy of the hype he recieved.

Good fights. Of course i’m rooting for Ken-flo to upset Cry Baby Jane for the 155 title. I hope Forrst can beat Silva, that would be so awesome, and despite what many fans think, Forrest is more than capable of stopping Silva. This card is becoming more stacked with good fights. I agree with Jazzkok, i want Neer to get his a$$ kicked.
I’m also rooting for Grove, i know a lot of people want him to get ko’d, but i think he’s better than what poeple think and i hope he can get the win in this one.

Yeah i agree, even though i want Batman to win, i know Neer is no pushover. Batman can problably pull of a sub if he can take the fight to the ground. Should be a good fight.
