UFC has added the second bout to UFC Fight Night 43 that is scheduled to take place in New Zealand around June, featherweights Hatsu Hioki (27-7-2 MMA, 3-3 UFC) and Charles Oliveira (17-4 MMA, 5-4 UFC) have agreed to meet at the event.
Hatsu Hioki is coming off a win over Ivan Menjivar back in March of this year via unanimous decision. Since joining the UFC back in 2011 he has a 3-3 record. He beat George Roop when making his debut at UFC 137 via Split Decision. He then went on to beat Bart Palaszewski at UFC 144 at the beginning of 2012 via unanimous decision. However, he began a three fight losing streak. He lost to Ricardo Lamas via unanimous decision back in June of 2012, Clay Guida via Split Decision in January of 2013 and then Darren Elkins via unanimous decision back in August of 2013.
Charles Oliveira fought the top caliber in the UFC and had a setback. He has been with the UFC since 2010 and in his last five fights he 3-2. He beat Eric Wisely via submission back in January of 2012, but lost to Cub Swanson via KO at UFC 152. Another loss to Frankie Edgar via unanimous decision at UFC 162 put him with a two fight losing streak. However, he came back to beat Andy Ogle via triangle choke back in February of this year.
This should be a top fight on the card, even though there are only one other fight announced for this card.
