Damarques Johnson..well it was a nice triangle be i mean who didnt see that. The coaches totally warned the guy. As soon as Damarques was in guard his legs went right up on the guys shoulders. My main problem this season though is that DB with the lip ring and stupid hair. Doller i think is his last name. Honestly i’m all for USA but please man i need the UK to knock him out. Anybody have ideas about whats with bisbing being gone? i’m saying something with his kid or wife but hey thats just me.

    • Kris Karkoski says:

Yep, Cameron Dollar is a lightweight for Team US. Though I’m not a fan of his “look” he did show some guts in his elimination bout if I remember correctly, which deserves some respect but I don’t care for anyone who brings drama. Drama keeps the shows interesting but I personally just love watching the fights and seeing the best fighters advance.

      • Rob says:

        With you 100%

      • Justin says:

I don’t care about his look, for the most part I don’t care about anyone’s look. (I’ve got friends with all kinds of crazy piercings and stuff, so whatever) but the guy is a DB for other reasons, A number 1 being sleeping with his friend’s wife, on my top 10 ways to get me to want to kill you, that’s 1-5 at least.

I’m all for USA, but these guys are making us look bad, but then again I can probably name at least one person I know that is like each one of them. I definitely don’t care for the drama though, but I would like to know where Bisping was.

  • Fred says:

SPOILER – (Just in case you haven’t seen the episode)

I can’t imagine why Bisping missed that fight. He should have at least communicated with one of the other coaches and let them know he wouldn’t be there. I guess we’ll find out next week…

    • Kris Karkoski says:

I’m really curious about Bisping’s absence as well. I’m not sure it would have made a difference in the fight, but interesting none the less.

      • Justin says:

Yeah, I don’t think it would have made a difference in the fight, except maybe postponing the inevitable by a minute or two.

  • jiujitsuMAN says:

i think it made a huge out come on the fight…

not having your coach in your corner throws you right off… if bisping had been there i could see the fight going to round 2… deans corner wasnt loud enough, and the voice was not nearly as noticeable as bisping…

someone had said before that bisping is already hte best coach on tuf… i thought he was doing a bang up job before this… dean should have been told or somethin… fighting is 90% mental and if you get a chink in your mental armour its all down hill from there

    • YZFOXRACING says:

I TOTOALLY AGREE WITH YOU… BUT I LOST RESPECT FOR BISPING CUZ OF THAT… HE SHOULD HAVE AT LEAST MADE A FEW CALLS… I WOULDA BEEN PISSED. I LIKE DANS THOUGHT OF WHY HE WASN’T THERE CUZ HE NEW HE WAS GONNA LOSE

    • MMAFan says:

As tight at the UK team seems to be I think it made a huge impact on the mental prep for the fight. I know if I were part of a team that had gelled that well I’d be really concerned about my coach if he didn’t show up. I’d be worried he was in an accident or something serious was going on, and my head wouldn’t be 100% in the fight.

Whether it made an impact on the outcome is doubtful though. I still think this fight belonged to the US team, but the UK may have made a much stronger showing with Bisping there.

      • jazzkok says:

Yeah i think it might have affected your boy a little bit that bisping wasn’t there (queer) but i’m not sure how much. D johnson had this fight as soon as it was announced. Team u.s.a are acting like little ****es dude. I’m not saying they HAVE to get along and be a team, but damn dude, they’re like bbickering little ****es. I bet hendo’s feeling the same way. Those dude don’t deserve a coach like hendo.

  • fr702 says:

He got drunk and well overslept, thats my guess… Hell whynot sounds like something he would do ;-) but it was disrespectful for him not to show up to his fighters fight…. Its kinda why he was there ya know…

Good fights for the most I guess, I wasn’t excited by either of them.. The douchebaggery of the team is really really annoying, but perhaps they will get it together or not we shall see..

  • GarRule says:

The main problem with the show is the forced idea of “team” that the coaches and producers try to introduce. These guys don’t care. In my opinion, they should give money to each team when a teammate wins. If these guys knew they were getting a few thousand bucks if their buddy wins, I think they’d take the team concept more seriously. Perhaps the team with the best record gets $10,000 a guy. Even the guys who lost would try extra hard to get their teammates to win. Do it, DANA!!!

  • DigYourOwnHole says:

I heard from an inside source that Bisping skipped because he didnt want to get the Swine Flu. My buddy is a checker at WalMart and he said he checked Bisping out with a box of surgi-masks, sanitizer, and rubber gloves.

I had no idea he was a germaphobe but this recent scare has him running.

    • MMAFan says:

      LOL.
That is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. This show is prerecorded right? What aired last night took place in probably February, before the swine flu pandemic started.

      • Justin says:

yes the show is prerecorded, and yes this happened sometime in February, most likely.

Swine flu: Here’s some context, something like 100 people die everyday from the regular flu, and millions die every year from Malaria. ~150 people have died total from Swine Flu/H1N1 Virus since this “pandemic” started. Don’t let the sensationalist media get you all gunched up and afraid.

      • jazzkok says:

Haha yeah dude i saw damian maia @ the pub round my house after he submitted sonnen. Just playing man, but yeah dude this happened before the “Swine flu” started going around.

      • MMAFan says:

I know this isn’t the topic of this forum at all… and I don’t mean to get off topic. But the scare about swine flu is that it is a strain that people have very little resistance for. Which means that if it isn’t contained it could spread to mass proportions easily.

Bisping may perfectly well be taking extra precautions right now, all my post was saying was that it isn’t the reason he missed the fight that aired last night.

      • Justin says:

The Swine flu isn’t as bad as it was initially expected to be according to the LA Times, and as I stated, “regular” flu is more fatal, as is malaria.

    • DigYourOwnHole says:

I know the show is prerecorded. It was just a joke given the current “epidemic”.

Just some states about the flu, to prove how Bisping is overreacting at this point…

Its estimated that 36,000 people die from the flu in the US each year.

So far, there have been 8 confirmed deaths from the swine flu.

On my pandemic scale, I rank this well below the risk of not “buckling up” before I visit my buddy at Walmart.
