If i was fedor i would clinch and suplex the crap out of aoki
and just kill him that way
take down after take down
WWE already did this with the Big Show and Floyd Mayweather…
Um, I give a slight edge to Fedor
No way, I think this type of thing is great for the sport. This is a far cry from pretend punching from a real boxer to a giant actor.
Fedor should/will win, but Aoki is extremely skilled. But This is great to allow displays that return to the idea of martial arts where the smaller guy can possibly beat the bigger man. Aoki could pull something off. I like these matches
If Fedor loses, can we shut up about him being the best at anything?
I heard that fedor was ranked #1 in the WSOC (world series of checkers). just what i heard..
this is amazing. The smaller man could beat the bigger man and i think aoki’s skills is good enough to beat the bigger and wayyy stronger fedor. I would pay money for stuff this stuff not just regular paperviews. So i’m pretty interested in what happens.
I say fedor wins, but aoki has a slim chance. I think fedor’s weight will be the deciding factor.
Grappling match between Aoki and Fedor is going to be good….. I don’t know if people know but Aoki faced off against Roger Gracie in grappling (Gracie being the victor) but it was a rather good match… Aoki isn’t opposed to fighting a bigger guy in grappling and I’m very interested in this bout.. Ya Fedor probably will win (he has a victory over a bear via armbar already) he is no bum on the ground, but come next wed. we will find, I think its gonna be pretty cool imo
Yeah, he fought Roger, and got beaten fairly easily. I mean he pulled guard, went for a leglock, got his guard passed, and submitted to an achilles lock.
I honestly think that Aoki is not that good of a grappler. He is good, but not that good. He almost got submitted by Jung Bu-Kyung. With that being said this exhibition match still kind a cool, and Aoki has a chance to submit Fedor. Fedor is a really good grappler, but sometimes he has an off night. I mean look at the Mark Hunt fight. He got side mounted and almost keylocked by Mark Hunt. So ‘m looking forward to this fight.
I think it should be interesting, but I do think that Fedor will win. Fedor is a pretty good grappler, and he’s got a big size/strength advantage.
Interesting match-up. I’m going to say Fedor all the way on this one. Even though Aoki is slick, I still think Fedor’s submission defense is top notch. We’ll see what happens.
hes also WAY faster and more explosive
shinyas more like big nog
very slick but not explosive
The Baka Survior ftw
And this, my friends, is why I refuse to take The Last Pudge seriously.
Aww come on dbiz, you’ve been saying he needs to face a real test, and if anyone is a real test it’s the Baka Survivor Shinya Aoki! Fedor iz teh awsum3!1
You made my brain hurt. Stop it.
im gonna give the edge to fedor but only by 55 45 cos its goin to be a gd match
Lol.. I’m glad that at least some of the commentors here are looking at this match as the exhibition of grappling skill it will likely be. It’s not an MMA fight and no one should be judging it as one. I think it’s a great idea and look forward to seeing them both display their respective grappling prowess.
this is cool fedor will hold both belts and no ufc belts imo
?????????
?????? lol this is an exhibition match buddy i don’t think they are fighting for a belt.
The actual lack of comment that is there is just well ya…. And basically Fedor could never be the LW WAMMA champ (F~WAMMA) cuz well he can’t make the weight…. For a title to be “up for grabs” you HAVE to make weight (ask Travis Lutter), this isn’t WWF, its not the “intercontinental champ v world HW champ” match com’on (i’m going to stop before I rant) cheers…………
Yeah… the concept that any belt would be up for grabs at all is just… yeah, wow.
