The free demo for the UFC’s upcoming video game, UFC 2009 Undisuted, is now available on Xbox Live and will be available later today on the Playstation Network:

I feel bad for you, however I am waiting on flucking sony to release the damn demo. freaking xbox had the demo released at midnight and sony is sitting on their butts. they really fumbled this one.
just started to download the demo n man its taking ages i bet its gunna be sic thou, anyone on the ps3 network is gunna get there ass wooped on this game gunna dedicate my gaming life to it lol

I was injured at training this week and was pissed that my Doc told me to sit out for two weeks. I’m going to use the game as home training. You all better be ready because I have nothing else to do until I heal. This injury couldn’t have had better timing.
hamster, you might find a deal on the cable at an officemax. I am not sure if you have one near you, but I got a 30 foot cable for 8 dollars through there. if not try wal-mart or sams or target. dont go to best buy, i couldnt find a cable for less than 25 dollars.
Have fun guys… I can’t bring myself to justify a new gaming console, especially when I hardly play the ps2 I already had or the Wii I was given. But I really wish I could play this game… grrr.
Justin if you get a PS3 you can justify it by the fact that you can now watch blu ray DVD’s, its prolly one of the best Blu ray players on the market. add that with the fact you can download tv shows and play games all on 1 system and its kinda worth the cash. PS UFC best of 2008 in blu ray is so sick.
That would involve justifying an HD-TV.
Justin, just buy a console its ok, then you will be able to play the game all you want…. I’m going to get one of the systems soon just haven’t gotten around to it.. I’m buying a system specifically to play this game I can’t wait its going to be fun..
okay that would be another set back but i would say a very good investment in a good HDtv and a PS3. everything looks so much better in HD. With that said i am single working FT and have zero kids, so disposable cash is a lil more plentiful. while i dont know your personal situation i would say if you had $1500-2000 from a tax return or a empty credit card laying around lol go get a nice set up it really is worth it, especially if you watch sports alot (the NFL in HD is the best thing on earth!)
well Justin I don’t know what to tell you, I think you should ask Santa for a HDtv, perhaps you will get it? I understand what you’re saying tho…. It is worth the investment imo just pay the lil extra for a good one…. Anyways thats my feelings on that there…………….
Yeah, well, I’ve got a kid on the way and we’re saving up to buy a house so…. once I get the house I’ll start thinking about getting some toys for the house, like an HDTV and ps3.
Maybe by then the PS3 and TVs will drop in price some more.
register for the shower and request a HDtv and a PS3 and hopefully you can have them both, then the baby (congrats again Justin), then you can ask Santa for the baby crib and a deluxe apartment in the Sky (dunno I think I’m going a bit insane but whatever) all jokes aside congrats Justin and way to be responsible you are doin the right thing, yet again its kinda what you do……….
Thanks, FR. We actually have a crib already, and a pack ‘n play. Now gotta worry about car seat and stroller, then the things that go without saying, like clothes and diapers. That’s funny about putting the HDTV and PS3 on a registry, though.
Justin – just wait until your tax returns for next year. The house and the new baby will equal some really good coin.
I would buy a PS3 but I need to make sure that I get one that’s backwards compatible with all of the PS2 games I’ve got and f’ing Sony keeps changing things around so much I’ve got no idea anymore which one will play the older games.

I’m also just buying a game system just for this game as well. I hope that it lives up to the hype, it looks awesome, i just hope that the gameplay is just as awesome.

the ps3 is an ok investment, it has less games than the 360, not all ps2 and ps one games are compatablile with every ps3 system. sometimes the downloads take a long time (more than 2 hours) to download whether its a demo or game or video. some tv shows are available for download, except abc shows, but most downloads start at 2.99, if you want the game or video in hd its a few dollars more. add-ons for games cost anywhere from 2.99-19.99. some are free, but most are not. the cool thing is you could rent some newly released dvd’s but once you watch it its only available for 24 hours. however its a few dollars cheaper than blockbuster. most games have better graphics on the ps3 than the 360, espicially games like call of duty, rainbow six, madden, need for speed, etc.

Some other positives of the PS3 though are that it is a a top of the line Blu-Ray player to the point that G4 uses the PS3 as the standard against which they judge other plain Blu-Ray players, for not much more money. No “Red Ring of Death”. And the proprietary Gran Turismo series, which I’ve been a fan of since GT2, even though I never did get 4, and obviously didn’t get 5.

OK, the gamei FU*KInG awesone. Graphics are top notch, game flow is surprisinnly smooth. Fighting from your back is a little tough, but itis in real life too. I give it 5 stars.

Yea this Game is Badass! I sat and played this demo for like an hour and a half straight. The grappling is actully fun once you get the hang of it. Stand up is Awesome. It shows that it has an option for “Classic fights” that should be badass. Can’t wait fo the real thing.
Ugh…ok, so my XBox just got the “Red Ring of Death”….and all I wanted was the new UFC game. What do I do now? Someone tell me what to do!!!!
Oh, and Justin, congrats on the new family. My wife is dying to have a kid…and I’m not!!! I told her that I was the spoiled brat in the family…all I want to do is watch the UFC, play my broken XBox, and teach. (I’m an elementary school band teacher, best job ever!!!!!)

playin the demo on 360 last nite with my mate an brother and this game looks amazin, the ko’s are devastating and the submissions are slick (but will be much better with more bjj focused fighters like demian maia, tales letes (although he was crap other nite) an all the rest cant wait for it too come out
I downloaded the demo on PS3 last night. Im impressed. But has anyone ever got past round two? lol. Round 3 seems impossible. And also, Chuck has the strongest chin in the world on this game while Rua gets beat easily. Create-a-Character will be cool. Im gonna create Andy Wang.

the game is awesome, however how about some realism?!?!? I beat shogun with liddell by a armbar and RNC. that was funny. the headkicks are crazy, I like the flash ko’s, and the cuts. I tried leites strategy of flopping to the floor and the ref stood us up and when I did it a third time I got ko’d by a headkick. I was doing GnP and freaking mario stood us up, I was like wtf. the game is sick, I cant wait to get the full version on the 19th.
Yeah I had a KO by spinning back-fist. You gotta put the difficulty on hard for a good fight. Getting to a decision is tuff.
without a doubt its already the best mma game by a long long way. the graphics are sick. the game play runs smoothly. the grappling is definatley the best its ever been. one thing i would say though, is the amount that the style strikes i.e superman punchs flying knees, spinning back fists etc is pretty unrealistic. its extremely rare that you would see each of these used more than a couple of times a fight, often more than a couple of times a night!, but it seems to be used extremely often in the game which seems a tad unrealistic.
one thing i really hope theyve achieved to a high level, is simulating each fighters abilities and moves, personally if im using matt hughes i dont wanna be 1 hit koing people. i want to be slaming people to the ground and gnp or subbing them. so i hope theyve made that realistic.
i am already addicted, when it comes out there better be a lot more dowloadable characters then the roster they put out. cant wait to use cheik konga against tim sylvia and destroy him
HOLY SH!T!!!!! This is by far the greatest fighting game, ever. Better than Pride, and I love that game. The transitions are smooth, the striking is fierce (girlfriends watchin America’s Next Top Model rerun in the next room).
The whole feel of the game is….organic. I don’t know, can’t think of a better way to describe it. It just feels right.
Calling this the greatest fighting game ever when street fight 4 just got released.. well.. guess there is no time to argue.. most people in this thread stated they arn’t really gamers anyways so I’ll forgive funny comments such as these.
