  • fr702 says:

Nice to see Kang get a win, my picks arent doing too well but hey its all good, cool that Cantwell and Cane are up now, we shall see where Cantwell stands in the UFC LHW divison

  • fr702 says:

I’m probably one of the biggest supporters of Liddell but damnit I don’t know what to say about what I just saw… It was not a good fight put on by Liddell and Shogun capatialized, should he hang em up ya perhaps, it shows that he can’t stand with the best anymore, perhaps he will say more in his post fight presser…. One of the Greatest forsure

  • c-ro says:

unbelievable, chuck man what happened bro, i thought you had that shit… mannn cannot believe CHUCK LOST TO FUCKIN SHOGUN DAMNIT

  • fr702 says:

Completely sucks man, but he got wobbled twice by a righthand from Shogun and got dropped by that left, I just hope that he realizes that he cant continue to get hit like that… He is part of the ZUFFA fam and He grew North American MMA (amongst others) but damn stop ruining your legandary career… But we shall see, I’m still a huge fan of Liddell’s but damn just damn

  • Dietrich says:

    @fr702,
Do you think Chuck goes up to Hvwt?

    • fr702 says:

Well that is a possiblity forsure, but seriously who would he fight.. The new breed of HW’s hit like tanks and have powerful takedowns…. He could to face Nog or Randy but who wants to see that? You can’t have him fight Cain or Shane or Brock, hell maybe Mir but he got rocked twice by Rua and then fell on that left soo his ability to take a punch is hightly suspect… but definately a possiblility

  • Derek says:

Poor Chucky, I fell a great sense of loss right now

  • Dr.doom says:

So what does this win for rua rate from you guys ? I thinkhe had alot more than people gave him credit lately for . I think it ups his stock in a huge leap

  • Dietrich says:

I agree its a longshot but chuck randy 4 (ugh) at hvwt might have mileage overseas for ticket sales.Maybe Gonzaga could be a fun test to fill an already established card.

  • Dietrich says:

I agree with you Doom its a solid win. Who faces Rua next? My guess Jardine or Vera.

  • paralyze7 says:

Who does Chuck face next assuming he stays at LHW and assuming he doesn’t retire???

  • paralyze7 says:

BTW…. LOOOOOOVE the play-by-play. Big kudos for MMAFrenzy!!!

  • Dr.doom says:

I could see him facing someone like Jardine or Vera for sure Dietrich …… another fight with Forrest should soon follow . If he looks as good as he did today , he should take it this time around .

  • chrisl says:

wow Leites has officially ticked off Anderson Silva

  • mma noob says:

wat do the crowd’s chants of GSP mean?

  • c-ro says:

that was more boring than the cote fight, what the hell was anderson thinking… what could be worse, chuck gets knocked out by fuckin shogun, then anderson doesnt even try to fight leites. if anderson wanted to, he couldve knocked leites out in the first round. he just wants leites to attack first so he could counter but leites is a submission dude he already sucks at the standup, so wtf…

  • c-ro says:

i just lost all respect for anderson you have to be heartless to fight in the ufc, you fight as hard as you can and dont stop until the ref pulls you off of your opponent. you dont dance around your opponent for 25 minutes doing nothing but displaying “the art of mma”. dana even says if you arent fighting to finish your opponent then get out of the ufc, this should apply to anderson too.

  • Nightmare says:

anderson after already dominating everyone before it is like he doesnt care anymore as long as he keeps the title until he retires in like a year or less. first cote makes to the third round the only reason it got stoppped was because his knee other wise anderson silva would of won UD now he does win UD against thales leites.

yep chuc should retire what is it now he is gotten tko/knock outed 3 of his last 4. be cool if he went to HW heck he beat couture when in LHW. why not try it in HW him against gonzaga would be cool too. even of those fight i would want chuck to lose in both.

so now whos next for sila before he breaks the record for most title defences. bisping/hendo, marquart, maia. who ever wins of bisping and hendo will definetly get a title shot but it might be to long so marquart of maia i dont think they will fight for title shot so maia since he hasn’t gotten a title shot yet. i think hendo has the best shot of beating Anderson Silva if silva bearly tries to finish the fight now.

    • Justin says:

Chuck has gotten T/KOed in 3 of his last 5, lost a decision to Jardine in one and won a decision against Wanderlei in the other.

      • Justin says:

I forgot to say that I think Hendo would get finished by Silva just like he did last time, because Hendo’s fighting style plays into Silva’s. Leites was able to survive the fight because he wouldn’t engage Silva on the feet and kept trying (sort of) to take it to the ground, if that’s all Hendo did, he would last the fight, but lose a decision. If Hendo were to fight his normal style, I think the fight would go similarly to the last one.
