I totally agree, Shogun is still riding his name and of course he’s in the main card cuz he’s fightitng Liddell. After Liddell knocks him out he’s going to the prelims or worse.

I definately agree. I think they already knew before Coleman vs Rua neither man was going to look stellar, reason being is because Chuck needed a opponent with a decent name that he would be able to handle. Im not sure how many of u guys saw the blog for UFC 93 but immediately after that horrible fight, Dana was already asking Rua if he would be willing to fight Chuck. HMMMMM??? Now I may be reaching but could the UFC be using Coleman in one last effort to give Chuck another named opponent that he should be able to beat in Bonnar? Chuck beats Bonnar, he would then have back to back wins against “legitimate” opponents and he would be “ready” for a title shot….. But he has to get past Rua first. I could be wrong about this…

yeah dude i agree. if shogun wasa fighting some other dude he would probably sill make main card but definately not co-main event. Tomorrow’s match is a great chance for both fighters to prove themselves so i guess we’ll see what happens

Let’s face it….the only reason Shogun is in the co-main event is because of his opponent. If it were someone other than Liddel that he was fighting, then chances are that his opponent would have been a nobody and they would be fighting in the non pay-per-view section of the fight. Does anyone agree?

Coleman should never see a main card again. Sure he looks incredible, but the man couldn’t last 5 minutes sparring with Bonnar, let alone fight him. I really don’t see why the UFC needs to put him in the cage again. Yeah, he’s a legend, but that’s it. He WAS great. Now it’s just getting sad. But what perplexes me even more is how in the hell Shogun can co main event a card when he, as someone here put it, looked like a dying walrus fighting with Coleman over the last bit of salmon. I know UFC 100 needs some legends on the card, but have them as guests, not fighters. Where’s Severn and Newton? At least those dudes can still actually fight in a 3 rounder.

After Bonnar beats Coleman, i hope he can retire, or if he doesn’t want to retire, the UFC should set up Couture vs. Coleman “The Fight To End both Carrers” haha.

Seriously he needs to hang it up before he starts showing Ken Shamrock symptoms. Couture should also give ir up.

Good idea for Coleman to train with one of those groups, he really neesds to get in better shape. He gassed out way too soon against Shogun, if he had came in better shape he problably could have upset Shogun, who knows. Boonar kinda gassed out against overrated Jones as well. Coleman training with Wanderlei or Couture, this should only have a positive effect on his overall game IMO.
